The credit crunch is hitting everybody hard so here are a few money saving tips.
Don't buy your cat expensive toys .They are like kids and will always prefer to play with the box. So get a cardboard box thats not to big or to deep and roll up tin foil or sweet papers into little balls and drop them into the box. Cats love to chase the paper balls around the box and will carry them outside it as well to knock around.
Get your cat neutered or spayed it will be less likely to roam and you will not have the added problems of kittens to feed and home. It is worth the cost as you will save on vet costs and they need less food.If you have more than one cat ask if the vet will give a discount for neutering or spaying.
Take advantage of "three for two" offers at the supermarket and stock up your cat food before the offer ends.
Get your cat insured. The small monthly amount will be well worth it when your cat is ill and you don't have to pay for costly treatment.
In the summer when tinned cat food goes off so easily feed your cat complete dry food but provide plenty of fresh water. You will not be wasting un eaten food so saving you money.
Dont delay treatment if your cat is ill or complete a course of treatment thinking that it will save you money. It won't because if you leave it longer then the cat gets worst and it will cost more in the lonrun as they will need treatment for longer.
