About Cat Behaviour
Do you find yourself currently experiencing bad cat behaviour? Then I believe I have some good tips for you to try out. I live with a couple of cats but all of a sudden out of nowhere they started getting highly aggressive and showing strange cat behaviour. I was stuck and did not have a clue in the beginning what started them off being like this so I went and investigated. Here are my findings and my top tips for cat behaviour.
What Is The Next Step? – Cats are extremely territorial creatures who love a stable living space where everything continue to be consistent. Think to yourself what has altered in the house in the last couple of weeks? Do you have a clue what might be contributing to the stress? I usually come to the conclusion that like moving furniture around too much or an environment where they cannot relax will actually rub off on cats. Do you remember if you changed their food? Have you seen a child started intimidating the cats? Try returning these things to normal and taking some notes in a few weeks to check if anything has changed.
Get Something Done About It - What I find with cat behaviour is that a good percentage of this time there is obviously problems in some area in the home that the cats are clearly not happy with. You have to get this done as fast as you can or it is going to continue to frustrate you more further down the road. If you get it sorted today then I can honestly tell that you will be happy further down the road.
Considering the pleasure half of the equation, you must compensate good cat behaviour. Sometimes the cats will start to stop being so aggressive then compensate them with a treat, a sit on your knee for a stroke etc. Another idea is getting them a new scratching post. Every feline is completely not the same. Remember to continue to reward them immediately after good behaviour or after a day of behaving well. If you keep this as a habitual routine then your cat will understand inside that bad cat behaviour will not offer to it what it wants. Give it your best shot. What is the worse that could happen?
