Dangerous Dog
Today I am going to tell you what happened to one of my cats and two dogs that live near. There are 2 dogs that live a few doors away from us. They are both staffie origin but not pure breed. Most of the time they are nice dogs but the bitch has been ill treated and can sometimes be a bit nasty.

The kids that live with the two dogs are horrible and encourage the dogs to chase cats . the dogs don't know any better and have chased the cats around by use and did kill one. They were reported but as the law in the U.K states that a cat is a wild animal there was nothing anybody could do.The owners are no good as they let the dogs out to roam the streets and don't care what they get up to.
Anyway Sunday evening I was watching TV and some of the cats were out in the garden when they came dashing through the cat flap. I knew these dogs were out int the lane. I went outside to the gate and took the water spray with me. Just as I got to the gate Ozzy my black cat was on the fence and the dogs were jumping against it trying to get at him. Well they must have knocked the fence hard and Ozzy fell off just as I came out of the gate. The largest dog instantly went for Ozzy and rolled him over to go for his throat. I screamed at them both and sprayed water at both dogs which gave Ozz time to run under the fence.
The dogs immediately run off down the lane while I called for Ozzy . No sign of him so I rang my daughter who was at work in the vets to explain what had happened. We knew there was no point in telling the owners as they would not do anything to help. So to cut the story short Ozz finally came in at around 10.30pm when it was dark and we checked him over. My daughter immediately took him into work for the vet to check him. Thankfully he wasn't hurt badly just bruising and shock but he stayed there over night.
These dogs are a problem but what can we do about them ? My daughter has some plans if we get anymore problems but you cannot really blame the dogs it's the terrible owners are to blame especially the kids for encouraging them to go after the cats.
